5 Reasons Why Your Company Should Use a Blog

posted by Scott on April 3rd, 2009

I was on the phone yesterday with a client and she wanted some information about how a blog could help her business. The Facebook Generation vs. the Fortune 500

posted by Scott on March 27th, 2009

The following is an entry by Gary Hamel of the Wall Street Journal.

The experience of growing up online will profoundly shape the workplace expectations of “Generation F” – the Facebook Generation. At a minimum, they’ll expect the social environment of work to reflect the social context of the Web, rather than as is currently the case, a mid-20th-century Weberian bureaucracy.

She was blown away with the quality and quantity of the responses! People from around the world gave her some really fantastic ideas, and here’s the kicker… it didn’t cost her a thing!

LinkedIn is more than just a social networking site where you add connections. If you give it a little bit of time and attention, you can use it as a tool to promote you and your business. With that said, here are a few quick tips to help you get started.

posted by Scott on February 22nd, 2009

When the topic of social media comes up amongst friends or clients, I find that some people want to be at the forefront of it, while others think that its just another fad that will pass over time, so they choose to ignore it. Social media marketing will never replace traditional marketing, but it will continue to evolve and should be a part of your marketing strategy. Read more »
